On Thursday, August 20th STI Group had the ribbon cutting on our brand new, state-of-the-art industrial fabrication shop located in West Orange, Texas. With a new location in Southeast Texas, this facility will allow us to provide even more outstanding service to our clients while also creating new job opportunities and economic growth for the area.
A State-of-the-Art Fabrication Shop with Room to Grow
The new facility will add an additional 33,000 square feet of fabrication space to STI Group’s expansive capacity. The shop has been meticulously designed and built to be optimally efficient for pipe fabrication and modular fabrication. It will have a 50 ft X 50 ft pad for large-scale assemblies and also features state-of-the-art equipment and machinery. The facility is also equipped for administrative and executive functions with 6,500 square feet of office space.
Another great aspect of the new West Orange fabrication shop is that it has been built with an eye toward the future. The facility is situated on a 30 acres site with plenty of open space surrounding it. This will make it easy to expand and add capacity or storage as necessary. This will be of particular benefit as the Texas and US oil and gas sectors continue to grow and thrive.
