Facts About the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Outdoor Extravaganza
Each year the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc’s local chapter, the Southeast Texas Chapter, holds its annual ABC Outdoor Extravaganza. The event is also often referred to within the industry as ABCsetx. The extravaganza offers a unique opportunity for those in the building and construction industry to get together for networking as well as to discuss timely issues and emerging technology and practices within the industry. The event features booths and expos, including the booth hosted by STI Group, and is an outstanding resource for those in the industry or seeking to enter the industry.
The mission of ABC is providing, “safe, quality, industrial/construction services, on time, at a competitive rate.” Our local chapter, the Southeast Texas chapter is an affiliate of the larger, national Associated Builders and Contractors organization. ABC was founded in 1950 in Baltimore, Maryland by a group of area contractors. Today the organization has blossomed into a 19,000-member, 72-chapter association with representation all over the nation.
