Until now, the spillage resulting from the extraction and transportation of petroleum-based products have adversely affected the environment surrounding the project site. Oil products that are absorbed into the soil and/or leach into our water tables can have long-term, negative effects on the physical, chemical, and biological properties of the soil. Traditionally designed skids have been in use for years but offer little if any, containment opportunities for product loss.

Skid setup is extremely fast and efficient, providing well hook up weeks ahead of the conventional time frame. The STI Group system hook up time is five to seven days versus the conventional non-contained unit set up time of 14 to 25 days. The cost is an additional benefit with savings of 20 to 30 percent per single well hook-up.
