STI Group is pleased to announce the construction of a new oil services facility in Jasper, Texas. The groundbreaking ceremony was on January 28, 2013 and the new site is located in the Airport Industrial Park on Highway 190 West. Once completed it will encompass 10 acres and will serve as our new Oil Services Division for the Midstream phase of the oil refining process.
Because of our commitment to responsibly serving the areas in which we operate, the project is being coordinated with Jasper Economic Development Corporation and the Jasper-Lake Sam Rayburn Area Chamber of Commerce. We plan to employ about twenty-five people initially at the new facility, and that number may increase as time goes by.
Our Oil Services Facility and Services
With over 300,000 square feet of indoor space dedicated to fabrication and over 1,800 employees, STI Group is continuing to grow and offer more services to the three energy markets – Upstream, Midstream, and Downstream. Our diverse group of skilled labor and personnel provides us the opportunity to vertically integrate our offerings for the oil and gas industry. Our current facilities are strategically located to best serve our client needs, and as production increases, we are open to the possibility of opening a fabrication shop in Jasper in the future. Southeast Texas will continue to be the central hub for our operations even as we branch out nationally with work in the Marcellus Shale in the northeastern region of the United States.
