Job Description

STI Group is seeking a  crane operator for the Southeast Texas area.  Job candidates should be NCCCO certified, authorized to work in the US, and able to pass drug tests and background checks. Crane operators will need to be able to operate both stationary or traveling cranes to position, move, and lift loads such as bulk materials, products, equipment, and machinery. Hoisting attachments such as buckets, hooks, and slings will be used. Operators must be able to monitor load safety, operate crane controls including levers, buttons, and pedals, and regulate the direction and speed of the hoist and crane itself. Safety gear in compliance with OSHA regulations will be required including gloves, hardhats, safety glasses, and others as needed.

Job Overview and Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and possess TWIC
  • Clear DISA status
  • Must have NCCCO certification
  • Ability to operate stationary or traveling crane
  • Ability to work in a range of settings including confined, elevated
