Cost Control Administrator (Out of State Travel Required)

Cost Control
  • Greater than 2 years as a Lead Cost Engineer
  • Coordinate and develop project annual-spend projections, cost reconciliations and variance analyses
  • Develop the project cost control strategy, plans and procedures, reflecting both client and contractor roles and responsibilities
  • Adhere to the segment financial, business and project processes
  • Address issues pertaining to project cost control procedures
  • Implement and monitor costs within each project stage until completion or close-out
  • Collect and compile progress and cost data, and develop cost-control worksheets and reports for review by construction team
  • Enters cost data from purchasing, field contractors or other various sources during project
  • Produces numerous cost reports for client status and progress review
  • Create requisitions and work orders, track purchase orders, verify invoices
  • Update the Daily, Weekly, or Monthly cost report as required
  • Forecasting the expenditures to meet the required projections
Experience and Skills Required:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite with proficient skills in Excel (creating charts, formatting cells, working with macros & pivot tables etc.), Access (ability to work with & manipulate large sets of data), PowerPoint (change slide layout, applying new presentation design and inserting images etc.)
  • Track Systems Management
Experience and Skills Preferred:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Project Controls within construction/oil & gas/manufacturing industry
  • Experience using the PS module in SAP system
  • Experience working with schedules for EVMS and productivity
  • Experience working with benchmarking metrics
  • BS Degree in Business Management, Accounting or Engineering
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Good driving record to drive company vehicle and access client facilities.
  • Safety-oriented attitude with a true commitment to personal safety, as well as the safety of others is a must.
  • Strong data entry background.
SITE SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • TWIC
  • Ability to pass a strict DISA Background
  • Ability to pass urine drug & breath alcohol
  • Hair Follicle required by some sites
