The STI Group family of employees love to take care of their own. It is with this spirit that we founded a non-profit charitable organization called The STI Group Foundation. Through The STI Group Foundation we have a program where employees can pledge a monetary amount per hour through payroll deduction to raise money for scholarships and goodwill of family members. The money pledged is then matched by the ownership at STI Group to increase the funds and goodwill raised. This is a great way to give back to the family members who support us as we work hard day in and day out.
STI Group is proud to announce the internal scholarship fund has raised enough money to award four $2500 scholarships to employee family members. The recipients include:
- Christina Kirkendall, wife of Brandon Kirkendall, attending Lamar University majoring in Education
- Chelsea Forse, daughter of Carrie Forse, attending Lamar University with plans to become a Pharmacist
- Garrett Davis, son of Corey Davis, attending Morris Weeks Welding School to become a Welder
- Yvette Garza, daughter of Alvaro Garza Gonzales, attending Vet-Tech Institute of Houston to be a Veterinary Technician
